Information
The aim of the Earth Sciences bachelor program is the scientific/practical pre-professional education and training to understand, analyze and interpret earth scientific processes and their interactions with the environment. Besides the general fundamentals of chemistry, physics, mathematics, zoology and botany, students are not only provided with basic knowledge of the earth sciences in the fields of geology, paleontology, petrology, mineralogy, geochemistry and geophysics, but are also offered a specialization in the subjects of applied earth sciences. The curriculum comprises different scientific subareas, which focus on the system earth. The program is offered by the University of Graz in cooperation with the Graz University of Technology
