The following competences are provided as part of the bachelor program: sound knowledge and understanding of the methods of analytical, inorganic, and physical chemistry and neighboring fields as well as their application in science and technology, complementary knowledge in the fields of physics and mathematics, the computer-assisted handling of relevant problems, the use of important specialist literature databases, scientific ways of thought and their application, the ability to apply the knowledge acquired in a universal and interdisciplinary way, dealing responsibly with chemicals and hazardous substances, safety and responsible work practice, the critical examination of unexpected results and respective new developments. |
