see University of Graz factsheet; language certificate for German or English mandatory. While all our programs are German-taught, most offer a limited number of courses in English (see http://international.uni-graz.at/en/stud/incoming/s-in-winfo/courses-taught-english/). If you do not have any knowledge of German, you need to check whether you can find enough courses being taught in English in your field of study. |

The aim of the Biology bachelor program is a general and multidisciplinary scientific pre-professional education and training consisting of biodiversity research, field ecology, molecular evolutionary biology, plant physiology, cell biology as well as animal and behavioral physiology including the scientific fundamentals of chemistry, biochemistry, mathematics and physics. The curriculum is comprised of required subjects and electives that cover broad fields of general biology and neighboring fields. Students receive sound basic education and training by means of the close connection between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This enables the understanding, analysis and evaluation of biological systems and their interactions with the environment on the molecular, organismic as well as eco-systemic level. |
