Max available positions
The streams cover the wide range of topics which belong to the field of humanities. They focus on the faculties' strong points in research and education. Courses may be offered in more than one stream. The Humanities' programme for Exchange students consists of the following streams: Art and Media studies Dutch culture and society English language and literature European and American studies History, society and religion Philosophy and discourse Modern European Languages; courses taught in target language such as French, Italian, Spanish, and German Nederlandse taal, cultuur en geschiedenis: courses taught in Dutch. The programme can start in August with an intensive Dutch summer course: This course is not a requirement. The programme recommends it for students who want to follow Dutch studies. Others may just opt to take it as a preparation for living in the Netherlands.
