Information
Role of irrigation pumping on groundwater chemistry because due to changes in gw flow regime and thereby ultimately influencing gw chemistry. Explore the influence of anthropogenic sources (agricultural return /pond water /biologically degradable organic carbon from surface run off /sanitation/cattle farm) on gw chemistry and sediment-water interaction causing release of arsenic into the groundwater. The applicant should bring their own field data and analysis results to interpret and model the possible flow patterns within a hydrogeological model.
