Language requirements
Applicants are required to take an English proficiency test. You may take the TOEFL or the IELTS to satisfy this requirement. The minimum score on the TOEFL test is 600 for the paper-based test (PBT), or at least 100 for the Internet-based test (IBT) and the minimum score on the IELTS is 7 on a 9-point scale.
Academic requirements
Master's degree (MSc, MA) in the area of Business (Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Knowledge Management, HRM) or Applied Psychology (Work and Organizational Psychology)  or related field(s) with excellent grades and a demonstrable interest in the area of human resources management - organizational behavior. Demonstrable experience with, or a strong interest in designing and executing quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed-method studies.
Max available positions
The project will contribute to our understanding of how intelligent algorithms may be used to identify (mis)matches between person’s job knowledge, education/training, and job demands. Big data collected on individuals, educational curricula/online learning environments, and the labor market/jobs will form the input of an ontology based personnel selection and training system (see for example and The candidate will explore Person-Education-Labor market (mis)matches by aggregating individual level data to the meso-level. Methods include big data analytics, including classification, cluster analysis, data fusion and integration, neural networks, pattern recognition, predictive modelling, regression, time series analysis, and visualization.
