Official Proof is required – by means of the TOEFL test (score of 100 for the internet-based version) or an IELTS test(score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 for subscores)
Academic requirements
Students should have at least two years of academic education, a Grade point average of 3.0 (US system) and a relevant academic background in the proposed field of study. A relevant background will be assessed by the following guidelines: For courses in Social sciences and Communication Science, students should have taken courses in any of the following subjects for at least a full academic year: Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Communication Science, Human Geography, Planning and International Development Studies.
Information
Exchange students in Social Sciences take part in the Undergraduate Certificate Programme in Social Sciences (UCP Social Sciences). This is a multi-disciplinary, non-degree undergraduate programme for exchange students. The programme introduces students to the following fields: Communication and Media, Conflict, Cultural Diversity and the Law, Development and Planning, Dutch Society and Culture, Ethnicity, Migration and Nationalism, Gender, Sexuality and Society, International Relations and Globalisation, Politics, Governance and Democracy, Society, Culture and Modernity.
