Academic requirements
Students should have at least a completed Bachelors degree in Sciences and a Grade point average of 3.0 (US system) and a relevant academic background in the proposed field of study. A relevant background will be assessed by the following guidelines: The Faculty of Science programme is intended for advanced Science students who have completed a Bachelors degree in the same academic field as the proposed field of study at the UvA.
Information
The Faculty of Science offers a selection of courses at the Master's level to students with a degree comparable to a Dutch Bachelor's degree in Science. Nearly all Master's programmes are taught in English, i.e. Artificial Intelligence, Astronomy and Physics, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Studies, Logic, Mathematics, and Physics.
