Information
Human Centered Multimedia is the Master's programme for you if you are interested in the ways people interact with (new) technology and media, and how they are supported, hampered and influenced by them, you want to analyse systems for the supply, storage and communication of information by means of various media (such as video, speech and text), you want to make connections between corporate/organisational management and the people responsible for developing technological solutions, you are creative, and prepared to look beyond standard solutions, your focus is on the end user. The programme examines subjects like: visualisation technology, information retrieval, semantic web technology, mobile systems, privacy, metadata, cognitive tools. The city of Amsterdam is ideally suited to research these subjects. It offers an environment of unrivaled innovation, and is one of the most important European centres in the area of ICT and new media.
