Undergraduate certificate programme in Humanities - Exchange
Language requirements
Official Proof is required – by means of the TOEFL test (score of 100 for the internet-based version) or an IELTS test(score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 for subscores)
Academic requirements
Students should have at least two years of academic education, a Grade point average of 3.0 (US system) and a relevant academic background in the proposed field of study. A relevant background will be assessed by the following guidelines: For courses in Humanities, students should have taken courses in any of the following subject areas for at least a full academic year: Dutch Studies, History, Archaeology and Regional Studies, Language and Literature, Philosophy, Media studies, Art, religion and Cultural Studies.
The Faculty of Humanities participates in several exchange programmes, such as the Erasmus Mundus programme. At the faculty of Humanities exchange students can find a variety of courses. Students can either study across disciplines and specialities or choose to deepen their knowledge of a specific area. The programme introduces students to the following fields: Dutch studies, history, archaeology and area studies, language and literature, philosophy, media studies, and art, religion and cultural studies.
