Language requirements
Participants should be fluent in both written and spoken English. Applicants from countries where English is not the language of instruction need to have obtained a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL test (or a score of at least 213 on a computer TOEFL test) or provide proof of an equivalent test or provide proof that part of their education was in English.

The research-orientated master’s program aims to give students a deeper level of knowledge and an understanding of the scientific methods of physics and – depending on the choice of elective courses – of related subjects. Program goals include deepening students’ knowledge of physics, supporting their specialization in the field, and helping them expand their skills, including the ability to perform independent research. Program participants acquire the ability to successfully deal with a variety of scientific and technical problems as generalists in the natural sciences.
