Language requirements
All applicants must submit a recent English Language Test certificate (less than two years old); 600 Toefl or overall 6.5 IELTS with a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version. See the link below for a full list of other recognised Language Tests and acceptable scores. If applicants do not have an English Language Test certificate, they must submit proof of registration to an upcoming test (result must be available by the 24th of January 2014).
Max available positions
The aim of this research is to develop a better understanding of the science of animal and plant production systems and to translate this into new technologies and processes to improve the quality of the food produced, the efficiency of its production and the competitiveness of the systems of food production with due regard to environmental stewardship and animal welfare. The School of Agriculture and Food Science also have an active research programme in Equine Science.
